During the operation, security personnel confiscated three firearms, ammunition, and other equipment believed to be associated with the group's activities. The operation was launched following intelligence reports indicating alleged plans for armed actions and consolidation activities in the area.
According to Lieutenant Colonel M. Wirya Arthadiguna, Head of Information for Koops TNI Habema, the operation was preceded by intelligence gathering, target verification, and detailed planning to ensure that it was carried out in a measured manner while prioritizing the safety of civilians living near the operation area.

After analyzing and verifying the information, personnel moved to the location believed to be functioning as a temporary transit site. Once the honai was secured, officers discovered several pieces of evidence, which were confiscated for further investigation.

During the operation, security personnel seized one 7.62 mm Lee Enfield rifle, two homemade 5.56 mm firearms, ammunition, and several other items believed to have been used in the activities of the armed group.
